Jason Burch
Hughes Wrecker, owned by Jason Burch, is a family wrecker business started by his grandfather, Kenneth Hughes, in Jasper County in the 1960s. Kenneth later moved his family and business to Shelby County where he ran a gas station on US 96 north in Center and Hughes Wrecker Service. Later Kenneth opened a garage and after the death of his daughter Tonja Hughes Folsom, Kenneth named it in her honor. Hughes Wrecker and Tonya's Shop is located on SH 7 West outside of Center. Kenneth brought his grandsons, Terry and Jason, into the business teaching them to haul. After Kenneth passed away in 2010, Jason and Terry began "Pullin' for PawPaw." Jason continues the family tradition of serving Shelby County.
